Minisport

Mini Sport have disgusting customer service and will outright verbally abuse you if something goes wrong. I spoke to Andrew this morning about trying to organise a refund for car parts that were not delivered as intended. I did not ask to be compensated for the cost of the freighting, or for the box they built for my items (for an additional fee of over $50 mind you). Andrew yelled at me, threatened me with lawyers, swore and completely ignored any attempt to reason with him. An absolute overreaction and an utter display of poor character.

I have noticed a previous review from a woman called Tamara also, which echoes my experience exactly. Minisport have responded trying to bully this woman into removing her post, and this is an accurate reflection of how they treat their customers. They have not used her review as an opportunity to resolve her complaint, just as an opportunity to call her a liar. I expect they will do the same here. Don’t believe the lies they tell you – their service is fine while they’re taking your money, but they are awful and abusive if something goes wrong. Buyer beware. If you can, find parts elsewhere.

Update

Today (more than two weeks after my payment was made) I received a partial refund. This is representative of the parts amount minus the shipping costs and the cost of packaging to ship it to me safely. While I am glad that this amount has been returned to me, it was not without effort and I am out of pocket for the shipping cost and time involved in resolving the matter. I do consider my complaint resolved and I do feel that this was done in a timely manner, but I would not return to mini sport in the future as this experience was needlessly difficult and complicated.

While I did receive my refund it did not happen until I agreed to update my google review if they were to do so. I was told my consumer rights do not matter and the company was entirely obstructive in resolving my complaint.

As promised I have updated my review to indicate that the matter has been resolved via refund, however I do not feel my experience warrants more than one star.
